When you subscribe, you get your own account page, where you can manage your subscription and cancel at any time. To open it, send /account to KnowlandBot on WhatsApp and it will reply with a secure link.
If you can’t work out how to do it, just ask KnowlandBot and it will help you.
If you don’t want to continue after the trial, make sure you cancel before your 7 days are up. Otherwise it carries on as the Standard plan at $64 a month.

No — and that’s the point. It won’t dig through your childhood or sit you in your feelings. It’s about virtue and action: the next right move, and the strength to make it. We don’t try to take your burdens away — we make you strong enough to carry them. That’s why this method saves marriages that therapy so often can’t.
05I’m not religious — is this for me?
You don’t need to be Catholic. But KnowlandBot does not treat morality as subjective. Its advice assumes that fidelity, marriage, fatherhood, virtue, natural law and objective moral truth matter. If that framework makes sense to you, you can benefit even if you are not practising the faith.
06Where do my messages go — is this actually private?
KnowlandBot builds an understanding of you over time and needs access to your conversation history. You can delete messages from your conversation history in your account portal, or request a full destruction of all your data.
We also have a pseudonymisation tool to replace all names you mention with fake names, so they cannot be identified by an admin.
For safety purposes, two admins — Will Knowland and Oliver Schofield — can read the pseudonymised messages. But in practice this rarely ever happens. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
07Why should I trust an AI with my marriage?
A fair question, and the most important one. AI is a powerful tool — used well it does real good, used carelessly it can do harm — so we treat it with real care. KnowlandBot is built not to flatter you or become an echo chamber: it challenges you and tells you the truth. You cannot make her change. You can become more trustworthy, competent, attractive and steady. You can communicate clearly, set just boundaries, stop feeding destructive patterns and lead your responsibilities well. Sometimes that changes the marriage surprisingly quickly. Sometimes her response remains slow or poor. Either way, you become a better husband and much clearer about what belongs to you — and what remains hers to choose.

13Can KnowlandBot help with my prayer and my interior spiritual life?
No. KnowlandBot is a marriage coach, not a priest or a spiritual director — it doesn’t have a soul, so it cannot do what a priest does. It won’t tell you how to pray, give you penances or try to discern what God is asking of you.
It can encourage good habits of prayer and hold you to the commitments you make. But for your interior life, confession and spiritual direction, it will point you to a priest.
14What does wifely submission actually mean?
In Casti Connubii, Pope Pius XI teaches that the wife’s subjection ‘does not deny or take away the liberty which fully belongs to the woman both in view of her dignity as a human person, and in view of her most noble office as wife and mother and companion; nor does it bid her obey her husband’s every request if not in harmony with right reason or with the dignity due to wife; nor, in fine, does it imply that the wife should be put on a level with those persons who in law are called minors, to whom it is not customary to allow free exercise of their rights on account of their lack of mature judgment, or of their ignorance of human affairs. But it forbids that exaggerated liberty which cares not for the good of the family; it forbids that in this body which is the family, the heart be separated from the head to the great detriment of the whole body and the proximate danger of ruin. For if the man is the head, the woman is the heart, and as he occupies the chief place in ruling, so she may and ought to claim for herself the chief place in love.’
That is what KnowlandBot teaches about submission.
When we say that it is optimised for virtue, not equality, we mean that it opposes what Pope Pius XI calls the ‘unnatural equality with the husband’ that is ‘to the detriment of the woman herself.’
Husband and wife are equal in dignity but with different roles: head and heart.
15If I become more masculine, will she become more feminine?
Not automatically. You can influence your wife; you cannot govern her from the inside. Your steadiness, courage, initiative, self-command and leadership may create better conditions for trust, receptivity and attraction. You can invite, persuade, reassure and lead by example. But you cannot manufacture femininity, trust or desire inside her.
Aquinas makes the principle clear: only God can move another person’s will from within. Your wife remains a free moral agent. Her response belongs to her.
So masculinity is not leverage over a woman. Your first task is to govern yourself and become the man God calls you to be. Her femininity may answer your masculinity — but it can never be forced by it.
